Journey!

Program notes:

“Journey!” (for string Orchestra) was the first ever piece that I ever wrote.

This piece is to theme of a journey, entirely it’s up to you what exactly that “journey” is all about, weather its the adventure on the high seas or simply a regular journey from point A to point B.

“Journey!” has 3 unlabeled and distinct sections.

Section A: A fast paced section with the theme being repeated again and again, with a counter-melody overlapping, this section also reference the traditional sea shanty “What Shall We Do With the Drunken Sailor”.

Section B: A different theme at a much slower tempo

Section C: A return of the main them to a grand finale
